A candidate who dismisses another country's grievance in a sentence is rarely convincing.
Language matters. If you have listed proficiency in a European or East Asian language on your DAF, expect at least one member to test it briefly. If you claimed nothing, expect a question on which language you would learn at the Foreign Service Institute and why.
