Where HackerRank asks about arrays and graphs, iMocha asks about Spring bean scopes, Salesforce triggers, Ansible playbooks or ABAP performance tuning. That is why it is used for lateral and experienced hiring far more than fresher screening.
The upside for you is that the questions map directly to what you already do at work. The downside is that shallow surface knowledge shows immediately — the MCQs are written to distinguish someone who has used a tool for a year from someone who has read a tutorial.
